Aubin merino crewneck

A plain crewneck in mid-gauge merino, knitted in panels and linked at the shoulder rather than overlocked, which is why the seam lies flat under a coat. The neck rib is doubled so it will not lose its shape at the back; the cuffs and hem are the same rib, deep enough to push up the forearm and stay. The body is cut straight with a slight drop at the shoulder, so it reads relaxed without looking borrowed. Merino at this grade is warm at 18 degrees and still wearable at 24. It is the sweater we expect people to buy twice, so we stock the colours for at least three seasons and sell a darning kit for the elbow.
