Carré printed silk square

A 90 centimetre silk twill square, printed in our own drawn pattern of overlapping ink lines on a cream ground, hemmed by hand. A hand-rolled hem is the reason a square scarf holds a knot and hangs in a soft cone instead of a flat sheet; it is also the reason this is not a fifteen dollar scarf. The print is a screen print in four passes, so the lines stay crisp at the crossings rather than blurring into each other. It ties at the neck, at the handle of a bag, or in the hair, and it is the one thing in the shop that fits everybody. One size, one colourway, no decisions.
