Vaux longline cardigan

A heavy longline cardigan that finishes at the top of the thigh, knitted from a lambswool spun with enough twist to resist pilling at the sleeve. Five buttons run the length of the front; they are a matte horn-look resin, sewn with a shank so the front does not pucker when it is fastened. Two deep patch pockets are set low enough to put your hands in without lifting your shoulders. The back is a single panel with no centre seam, and the hem has a 10 cm rib to give it weight so the whole thing hangs rather than flaps. It is warm enough to be the outer layer until it is properly cold, and thin enough to sit under a coat after that.
