Noyer bias-cut midi skirt

A bias-cut midi skirt in a silk-blend satin used matte side out, so it has the movement of satin without the shine. Because it is cut on the bias it flares from the hip without gathers, and there is no zip: the back half of the waistband is a covered elastic, which means it pulls on and still looks like a tailored waistband from the front. The hem is 88 cm from the waist and is finished with a narrow machine-rolled edge that keeps the weight low so the skirt keeps moving. It is the piece most people in the studio own, usually with the Aubin crewneck on top and a pair of flat boots.
